KRI Appointed Certified Trainer for China – Angad Kaur
Angad Kaur was born in Hong Kong and migrated to Melbourne , Australia in 1995 where she had the first Yoga Lesson in her life ever….and that was Kundalini Yoga. Since then, she has never practice any other yoga type because she feel so fulfilled. The transformation power of Kundalini Yoga has changed her completely both physically and spiritually. She has been a vegetarian since the first year she practiced Kundalini Yoga. She used to be proud of being a social heavy drinker . Now she is proud to have a purified system that does not allow any drop of alcohol inside her . She used to be proud of her Branded fashion , shoes and handbags. Now she is very happy just being in the simple white cotton dresses and trousers.
In 2000, she moved to Toronto, Canada where she has the chance to deepen her practice of Kundalini Yoga with the Teachers Training Level I. She has never thought of being a professional certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher until 7 days after she moved to Shanghai in 2005. There were emails and calls from expats’ community asking for Kundalini Yoga classes.
Her intuition told her strongly that she does have a mission in China. She set up Yoga Asia Studio …the very first Kundalini Yoga studio in China….6 months after she settled in Shanghai. Since then the Kundalini Yoga community is growing and she has taught over 1,000 hours..
In 2006 at Summer Solstice in New Mexico, USA (Headquarter of 3HO), Angad Kaur was appointed by KRI Director in Asia, Sunder Singh ,to be the first KRI certified Trainer in China .
She is also the first certified Radiance Child Yoga Program (RCYP) teacher trainer in China. She has completed KRI Level II program in London in 2007 .
